The massively outnumbered and outgunned Israeli army achieved one of the greatest victories in the annals of modern warfare. Celebrate!!! OH by the way, the massacres you refer were perpetrated by the South Lebanese Army. |

1 The manpower and weaponry as well as the fact the US was poised to assist Israel are all matters of record. The massacres could not have occurred without Sharon ordering the gates opened and the IDF soldiers to ignore the killings. He even provided lighting for them. Israel's own Kahane Commission found him responsible for the massacres. |
